Chcete vědět proč Realgeek.cz používá logistiku ComGate?

Today we interviewed Jan Bartek, the managing director of Internet Ninjas, which is behind the project Realgeek and operates the e-shop realgeek.cz. As we are gearing up for the Christmas season, we kept it brief and to the point.

Could you tell us more about your e-shop? The Real Geek store, which my sister Tereza and I founded nine years ago, focuses on full-service merchandising, i.e., products with a specific theme. We are an e-shop collaborating with the largest number of influencers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and during the operation of the e-shop, we have created products for more than 100 partners. Primarily, these are YouTubers, streamers, TikTokers, and other influencers, but we have also created products for various shows, companies, games, and other entities that fit into our assortment. In 2017, we opened our own brick-and-mortar store in Prague, which we moved to larger premises on Koněvova Street in Žižkov the following year. Besides our products, we also have a photo studio, offices, and even a gaming room with virtual reality there.

What led you to decide to go with an external warehouse, so-called fulfillment? We started the business when we were both still studying at university. The first year, I handled the shipping myself from my room at the Jarov dormitory. As the number of orders increased, we realized that we were not able to handle everything at once and also ensure that our business was moving forward. So, we looked for someone to relieve us of this routine work.

How has collaborating with us improved your business? Definitely in the ability to focus on other aspects of business and almost not have to deal with logistics. After connecting our systems and automating most processes, we now hardly need to deal with the logistical side of things.

What do you think we do well, and where could we improve? The speed of dispatch is something that a large majority of our customers appreciate, and we definitely agree with that. As for areas of improvement, I must admit that nothing comes to mind right now. But I believe you will pleasantly surprise us again.
